Case Study: Flood Damage Refurbishment Works

Project Overview

Following significant flooding within multiple areas of the school, our team was appointed to carry out remedial refurbishment works to restore affected teaching spaces and circulation areas to a high standard.

Scope of Works

The project involved coordinated repairs, replacement works, and decorative finishes across several sections of the building, including:

• Full redecoration to all affected walls

• Installation of new skirting boards throughout

• Latex preparation of damaged subfloors

• Supply and installation of new carpet tile flooring across various rooms

• Replacement of 40 metres of skirting board

• Replacement of 4 metres of worktops complete with new chrome worktop legs

Outcome

All areas were restored to a clean, durable, and visually consistent finish while ensuring minimal disruption to school operations. The flooring and decorative works provided long-term resilience, improved aesthetics, and enhanced usability across the affected spaces.
