Zone CEE are a Midlands based company founded in 1984.

We aim to provide interior refurbishment, building alterations, new build and general contracting services to commercial, education, industrial, and local authorities.

With over 40 years experience in the construction industry, we use our wealth of experience to provide a full package to our clients with the whole project managed by us – all the way through.

We can provide advice and guidance as well as design inspiration and visualisation.

Health, Safety & Environment

We believe Health & Safety on our sites is paramount and all our H&S systems are accredited by SSIP(Safety Schemes in Procurement).

This ensures that we can safely fulfil our role as a Principal Contractor to the standards required by Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015, and ultimately under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.

All our onsite staff have CSCS cards and those working within Education have had Enhanced DBS checks.

We always consult with our clients as to their needs when it comes to carrying out works on any site, and we have significant experience working safely in schools and other occupied sites.

Our site supervisors are SSSTS trained and all operatives undergo regular Health & Safety training.

Our Health & Safety Policy & Arrangements document is available upon request.

We are currently working towards BS 8555, our Environmental Policy is available upon request.

Specialist Toilet & Washroom Installers

We have been refurbishing toilets and changing rooms for over 35 years and have a specialist team devoted to these projects.

Zone CEE operatives carry out all installation work for the cubicle systems including all associated plumbing requirements – meaning our installations are covered by our 12 months defects liability period.

We are able to advise you on all the possibilities of your washroom refurbishments including: space planning, Building Regulations requirements and finishes.

Personnel

We work with the CITB to ensure all our staff and sub-contractors undertake regular certificated training with approved training providers, gaining qualifications in:

SMSTS, SSSTS, PASMA, CPCS, IPAF, UKATA, and First Aid.

All staff undergo Enhanced DBS checks before working on site and are identifiable by their ID badges when on site.

Our team are adaptive, friendly and experienced. We will always endeavour to help our clients throughout the project to achieve the results envisaged.

Zone CEE are signatories to the Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility.

We aim to support the community around Birmingham with our work, supply chain and policies.

Supporting the local community is important to us as a company, and we look to provide extra services or support where we can throughout the year.

From start to finish we have been very happy with the work completed by Zone Cee. The high level of communication before and throughout, made the process very seamless. As a Principal of a school, the priority is always on ensuring school runs smoothly, children are safe and learning isn’t disrupted. Despite the toilets being in a very central location, there was little to no disruption at all to school life. All contractors and work people we encountered were professional, friendly and completed work to a very high standard – we encountered no issues with anyone. The information provided ahead of the project starting was very thorough and provided a clear and accurate plan for works as well as providing DBS and health and safety information. Tom provided an excellent face to face service and over communicated information so that myself and the site manager were always informed and aware of what was happening and when. Tom being available throughout the project and completing very regular onsite visits ensured the smooth running of the project with issues identified and addressed immediately.
