In conjunction with Mike Tippins Design, this project undertook to create new office spaces for support staff and nurses and ultimately concluded with a refurbished space for neo-natal care within the Delivery Suite. Fittings included work stations for nurses and the Trusts specified furniture for storage of medical equipment. Electrical installations nurse call points and specialist lighting, and a new hand wash point was plumbed and installed. The works were phased according to the Trust’s requirements and negative pressure was ensured within the rooms at all times due to the sensitive environment. Works were undertaken with due consideration to patients, staff and ongoing operations of the unit at all phases.
