27 Jul 2010 - Castle Bromwich Infant School
| We recently completed the refurbishment of the 350m2 Nursery Playground in conjunction with Construction Management Services. The playground was laid with 300m2 of soft pour in 4 colours, onto which a range of play equipment and a trim trail has been installed. Maze seating and a Story tellers chair have been located under a large sail canopy. A sensory path was created around a number of planters along with a wild beast area. Two new access ramps were created and new doors were also installed to the nursery. The whole area has been screened with willow fencing. |

27 Jan 2010 - St Luke's Church
| This project comprised of the alterations to the south west entrance of the church and the construction of a single storey extension to form a new entrance hall, meeting rooms and toilet facilities. The construction consisted of concrete foundations, suspended concrete block and beam floor and brick/block cavity walls. Roof construction was a pitched timber truss roof with specialist polymer external roof sheeting. External works include construction of a new car park, paving and general alterations to suit new layout of the altered building |

| Having completed three primary school extensions prior to Christmas we begin the New Year with four more exciting projects; refurbishing the toilets at the West Midlands Fire Training Centre; refurbishing Shipston on Stour Police station; undertaking repairs to the roof lights and cells at Dudley Magistrates Court and finally refurbishing the kitchen area at Cadbury World. |

30 Sep 2009 - Extensions
| During the summer holidays we undertook a 60m2 single storey classroom room extension at Calthorpe School in Digbeth. We have recently completed an extension at St Luke’s Church, Kingstanding which incorporated a new entrance, office and meeting rooms, we worked on this projected in conjunction with Wakemans Bespoke Consultancy Services.
We are currently working with Solihull MBC and Baily Garner on three school extension within the borough. These being: Meriden Primary School (70m2) Hasluck Green Junior School (120m2) and Blossomfield Infant School (60m2). |

23 Jul 2009 - Meriden Primary School – Bike Store & Scooter Rack
| We excavated and constructed a concrete hard standing on the edge of the playground for the installation of a Bike Store which was manufactured by Marshalls Urban Structures and a Scooter Rack manufactured by Tollhouse Limited. |

16 Apr 2009 - Instarmac - Single Span Canopy
| We were approached by Wakemans to tender for the construction of an extension to an existing loading bay canopy, where the client had requested a single span construction so as to avoid the hazard of delivery lorries colliding with columns. This required the clear single span canopy to be in excess of 150ft and covered 7 loading bays. |

12 Mar 2009 - Molton Brown – R & D Laboratory Refurbishment
| Molton Brown a brand leader in skin care cosmetics recently employed Zone CEE to construct their new R & D Laboratory and Staff Canteen at their manufacturing premises in Bishop Stortford.
The contract was undertaken in three phases and was overseen by The Edward Finch Partnership. The canteen facilities, adjacent offices and the existing R & D Lab remained operational throughout the contract. We completed the project a day early and within budget.

01 Dec 2008 - Sutton Coldfield College - Refectory Refurbishment
| This was a very exciting project for us where we worked closely with the client to create an environment that encouraged healthy eating. The refectory was situated on two levels one of which was a mezzanine floor. We created a secure shop area and new canteen serving facilities. The two tone orange and white resin floor was replicated on the ceiling and digital graphic wall paper images were used within the stairwell and main refectory wall. |

01 Sep 2008 - Weston Beamor Ltd - Executive Office Suite
| Over the recent months Zone CEE have been converting a first floor storage area into a suite of executive offices and meeting rooms including a boardroom with adjacent hospitality facilities. In addition a new staff canteen and washroom facilities were added. We are continuing to work with this client to refurbish other areas of the premises. |

10 Jun 2008 - George Dixon International School - IT Suite
| We recently commenced works at George Dixon International School building a 230m2 extension to provide an IT facility which the school intends to use for Community based learning. The extension has been designed to give an aesthetically pleasing design and will be fitted out with modern IT equipment. The project is due to be completed during August 2008. |

21 Feb 2008 - Meriden Primary School Classroom Extension
| The works comprised of the construction of a single storey classroom extension utilising traditional cavity construction envelope walls with a light weight steel structure roof. Internally the steel work exposed to create an integral design feature. Powder coated aluminium windows were installed and the classroom was linked to the main building by a corridor of curtain walling. |

09 Oct 2007 - Pupils make a Splash at Knowle Primary School
| In order to decide which set of toilets to refurbish first Knowle Primary School held a competition for the best toilet design. The competition was won by the Junior Girls who created a ‘Boutique’ rather than just a toilet. Their colour scheme was Cerise, Lilac and Silver and their attention to detail included ‘Splash’ Mirrors, and Pink Bubble Toilet Seats. |

20 Sep 2007 - Ulverley Junior & Infant School
Working in conjunction with Solihull Council we created a new Children’s centre to accommodate upto 20 children.
Phase 1 involved dividing the existing hall down the middle and creating a new reception area, reception office and meeting room.
Phase 2 involved alterations to the existing special needs unit to create toilet facilities, a play area and an adult interview room. A soft play area of approx 80m2 was also created

20 Sep 2007 - School Toilet Refurbishments
| Summer 2007 was our busiest ever we refurbished a record number of School toilets, utilising two teams. Even though we were only working in 8 schools we refurbished 17 sets of toilets with a total of 64 cubicles and 18 vanity units!
We have started the Autumn term at Four Oaks Primary School where we are refurbishing all 4 sets of their Junior toilet.

20 Mar 2007 - Oldbury Sports College
| Zone CEE project managed the complete refurbishment of two science laboratories. The project involved the complete stripping out of all existing laboratory furniture and flooring, all services where then isolated before the rooms were redecorated.
The laboratory was then fitted out with integrated units designed and supplied by British Thornton ESF who are specialists in the manufacture and installation of educational laboratory furniture.

10 Jan 2007 - HM Prison Service College
| January 2007 sees Zone CEE starting the New Year working for HM Prison Service College at Newbold Revel, near Rugby, in conjunction with the architects - Supporta RPD.
This 12 week project involves the conversion of the former Museum into a training facility which requires the construction of a number of prison cells, each of which will replicate a different style of cell from the Victorian era to the present day.
This training facility will be used to train new prison officers, in particular, on how to conduct searches of prisoners’ cells. |

01 Nov 2006 - EH Smith, Head Office, Shirley.
| Zone CEE have been appointed as the main contractor for the £340k fit out of EH Smith’s prestigious new 10,000 sq ft, Head Office in Shirley, Solihull. The 11 week contract is due to be completed before Christmas 2006.
The brief was to enhance the interior of what was already a very desirable and spacious office block, the existing interior was completely open plan and required to be divided into offices. A bespoke designed partitioning system using solid beech double glazed office fronts with integral venetian blinds was installed to create a contemporary ambiance.
The ‘heart’ of the company will be a state of the art, bespoke designed, communications room capable of servicing the HQ and all the company’s satellite operations. This meant employing the latest technology including; 24 hour climate control; CAT 6 cable infrastructure; heavy duty raised access flooring; fire suppression system and an 8kva emergency electrical back up generator. |

01 Sep 2006 - Bartley Green Technical College
| At Bartley Green Technical College we refurbished the Girls toilets with the aluminium framed Centurion cubicles from Armitage Venesta. The area was finished with stainless steel accessories, wavy mirrors and trendy toilet seats chosen by the pupils. The Male & Female Staff Toilets were fitted out using durable Quantum cubicles and wall panelling in a pale blue and charcoal colour scheme. |

01 May 2006 - SVS Salon
| The design was developed in conjunction with the co-owners to provide a modern, functional and ascetically appealing salon.
The bespoke reception counter was designed as the main focal point for the salon and is backlit. The styling sections and wash points were sourced from Aston & Fincher.
Modern recessed lighting was incorporated in the ceiling, providing varying light tones to highlight specific areas of the salon. A state of the art water heating system was introduced to meet the demands of this popular salon.
The colour scheme of bitter chocolate and cream was chosen to give a modern yet spacious effect. |

20 Mar 2006 - Menzies High School – Laboratory Refurbishment
| We have recently completed a science laboratory refurbishment at Menzies High School.
The laboratory was fitted out with integrated units supplied by David Bailey Furniture which incorporated specialised pipe work, laboratory belfast sinks, gas taps and turret electrical boxes.
High frequency Cat II dimmable lighting, air conditioning and ventilation were also installed. Standalone desks were supplied to enable the room layout to be altered to meet different teaching needs and styles. |

01 Oct 2005 - Security Lodge at Sutton Coldfield College
| Working in conjunction with Knight Frank we commenced the construction of a single storey security lodge, built on a raft foundation with glazed aluminium windows to all four sides. The entrance canopy has security lights and CCTV which affords safe pedestrian access on to the campus. |

| Zone CEE have temporarily relocated the Vestry from the main church into a Grade 2 listed cottage with the conversion of the 1st floor of the cottage into a residential dwelling and associated works to comply with DDA legislation.

01 May 2005 - Calthorpe School, Birmingham
| Zone CEE have refurbished 12 sets of toilets, for this large special needs school in the centre of Birmingham, using the vibrant new colours from the Armitage Venesta range of washrooms. The works included the complete stripping out of the existing toilets, the floors were layed with a welded vinyl system with coved skirting and the walls were decorated with Ilumitex an anti graffiti seamless wall finish.

01 Apr 2005 - Prodrive, Warwick
| Zone CEE have recently completed the conversion of 1st floor offices of a pre-fabricated building including; suspended ceilings, partitioning to subdivide areas into meeting rooms, offices and rest areas and decorative finishes. The works incorporated the removal of the existing 1st floor whilst the office beneath was still occupied and its complete re-instatement including power and data cabling within the floor void.
